2021 Salt + Stone Central Coast Pinot Noir 0.75 Ltr. Red
picture of

Light red cherry color with dark red reflections. Aromas of black cherries blend with earthy notes of forest floor and a hint of smoke. On the palate, flavors of caramelized strawberry, white pepper, and tobacco are supported by a touch of spice. The finish is flavorful, refreshing, and elegant.

Pairs well with fine charcuterie, veal, Iberian Presa, pheasant with Fine Champagne sauce, vegetarian dishes, and Asian curries.

climate

California has a warm Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. Closer to the coast, the temperature can cool more during the night or in winter.

soil

Variation of sandy vineyards with loam, clay, and pebbles.

vinification

After a gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages for about 10 months in a blend of barrels used for one year and flavor-neutral barrels. Finally, the blend is made, and the wine is bottled."
