light color with green nuances. Fresh and mineral nose with green and lively flavors of citrus fruits and Granny Smith. A fine creamy touch softens its sharp edges a little. Deliciously dry and tight aftertaste that remains slightly tingling in the mouth.

Mineral style with lots of citrus that goes well with all kinds of seafood, chicken salads, salmon or tuna carpaccio and goat cheese.

climate

The climate on Etna is more variable than on the rest of Sicily. During the day it can be very hot while at night the temperatures can drop quickly. In general warm and dry summers while the rest of the year there can be regular precipitation. This is certainly true for the Carricante which thrives at high altitude (700-1200m altitude).

soil

vinification

Grapes are picked by hand. After a temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats, it is left on its lees for another good half year to round off its sharp character somewhat.
