Château Guiot - (France)

Château Guiot logo

In 1976, Château Guiot was bought by François and Sylvia Cornut. A thorough renovation was immediately carried out in the cellar and in the fields the local grapes were replaced by high-quality grapes such as Roussanne, Marsanne, Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault. Gradually the wines evolved to an extraordinary level. They were soon discovered by the president of Sommeliers du Languedoc who in turn convinced a critic of Gault-Millau after which the ball never stopped rolling. Robert Parker also quickly became a fan and today Guiot is generally considered one of the top references of the Southern Rhône. In the meantime, Alexis and Numa (the twin sons) continue the work of their father with conviction and great confidence in the future.
